At Downtown Boxing Club, we believe the habits built young last a lifetime. Our Young Boxer Program is designed to teach kids discipline, hard work, and dedication, all while giving them a place where they feel welcome, supported, and challenged to be their best.
Building Strong Minds and Strong Bodies
Boxing isn’t just physical. It’s mental. Our program helps young athletes grow in confidence, focus, and resilience as much as in strength and technique. We want every student to walk away not just a better boxer, but a more disciplined and self-assured person.
What Classes Look Like
Young Boxer classes follow a structure similar to our adult group sessions, with age-appropriate coaching and a strong emphasis on fundamentals:
Warm-ups and stretching
Jump rope and conditioning
Shadowboxing and technique
Bag and mitt work
Kids train with their peers, while still getting the individual attention they need to grow.
