The energy of a Downtown Boxing Club group class hits different. 

You’ll jump rope to the rhythm, push through conditioning rounds, hammer the heavy bag, and sharpen your skills with speed and mitt work — all side by side with people who are fighting for the same thing: to get better every day.

No matter your age, background, or fitness level, you’ll find that our group classes challenge you, welcome you, and keep you coming back for more. Because when you train with a team, you don’t just build strength.

Here’s What To Expect

From the moment you walk through the doors, your new teammates are here to support you. You’ll need your wraps, gloves, and a water bottle… but don’t worry, we’ve got gloves on hand if you’re just getting started, and gear available for purchase when you’re ready to make it yours.

Classes run 45-60 minutes and move fast, with stretching and warm-ups, jump rope and conditioning, then into shadowboxing, technique, and rounds on the bags and mitts. Coaches are always close by, pushing you, correcting your form, and keeping it personal so you get the most out of every round.

Every class brings beginners and veterans together, with modifications for all levels. The vibe is family-like and inclusive, with just enough grit to keep it real. You’ll sweat, you’ll learn, and you’ll walk out with more than just a workout: you’ll leave proud, accomplished, and ready for the next round.

Aim to arrive 10-15 minutes early to wrap your hands and get mentally prepared.
You’ll need wraps (180 inch recommended), gloves, and water
(we’ve got loaner gloves if you need them).

*Important: If you are coming to class for the first time, we require you to arrive 15 minutes before the start of class to ensure your waiver has been signed and get you oriented with the space*
