Downtown Panama City’s Boxing Gym

Build

This isn’t just a gym. It’s a proving ground.

You’ll shadow box, condition, jump rope, and feel the rhythm pick up with every round.

You’ll hit the speed bag, drive into the heavy bag, and sharpen your focus with mitt work.

But it’s more than training.

It’s a place to challenge yourself, surprise yourself, and be supported every step of the way.
You don’t have to be a fighter to belong here — you just have to show up.

Every punch builds confidence. Every round builds strength.
And every person who walks through the doors is welcomed like family.

Welcome to the club. Your fight starts here.

Find Your Routine

Every session at Downtown Boxing Club is designed to challenge your body and sharpen your mind.

From conditioning and jump rope to speed bag, heavy bag, and mitt work — you’ll sweat, learn, and build real confidence with every round.

Whether it’s your first day or your next round of private training, you’ll find the pace that keeps you moving forward.

Ok… but are we actually fighting someone in the ring?

Not unless you want to.

Most of our members are here for the workout, the confidence, and the community: not to compete.

If stepping into the ring is your goal, we’ve got experienced coaches who can take you there. And when you’re ready, our Friday Night Sparring matches are where technique turns into experience. Controlled, supportive, and built to help you grow.

But if you’re here for the training, the sweat, and the transformation, you’ll get all of that without ever having to square up.

  • "now boxing has become a huge part of my life"

Awesome gym filled with wonderful people! The coaches are literally the best and have created such a supportive atmosphere. I’m challenged every class and love seeing the progress! Initially planned on just attending a few classes to do something different and learn to fight a bit, but now boxing has become a huge part of my life and the boxing club members are like family. I love it all. Highly recommend! Come check it out for a good de-stressing experience!

  • "Everything you'd want in a boxing gym."

Everything you'd want in a boxing gym. Coaches who are good at teaching, a community of support, people at all levels learning, Friday night sparring, and an ambiance that matches the culture of boxing.

  • "It’s not just about learning to box; it’s about building character, confidence, and resilience."

My 12-year-old son has been training at Downtown Boxing Club for just over six months, and it has been a transformative experience for him. Before starting, he was quite reserved and a bit unsure of himself. However, since he began his training, I’ve seen a remarkable change. His confidence has soared, and it’s clear he feels much more secure in his own skin. A significant part of this positive change is thanks to Coach Stacie. She is not just a coach; she’s a mentor who genuinely cares about the kids and their growth, both inside and outside the ring. Her approach is the perfect blend of discipline and encouragement, pushing them to exceed their limits while ensuring they feel supported throughout their journey. If you’re considering boxing for your child, I can’t recommend Downtown Boxing Club and Coach Stacie enough. It’s not just about learning to box; it’s about building character, confidence, and resilience.

  • "The more of a bad day I have, the more I want to be at Downtown Boxing Club."

Hands down one of the best workouts you can find. I'm always drenched in sweat within the first seven minutes. The coaches are there to help you succeed at boxing. The members are great and willing to help you out and push you during every workout. The more of a bad day I have, the more I want to be at Downtown Boxing Club. Give it a try, you won't regret it!!

  • "The days I take classes I literally cannot wait to get there. "

After two years of the same mundane workout I decided to implement something new. Let me tell you, I was 'hooked'...pun intended... from the moment I first stepped into that wonderful downtown building. The members are encouraging and made me feel right at home. The days I take classes I literally cannot wait to get there. Not only is it an amazing workout, you get to laugh, listen to music, and make new friends. It's an open gym too!!! I just enjoy the camaraderie of the classes.

  • "If you’ve been thinking about joining, the right answer is yes you should!!"

By far the best gym in town! From the moment you walk in until the time you leave the coaches & members make you feel at home. You are always learning something new every class as well as always leaving dripping & feeling accomplished. These experienced coaches give you every tool to help you achieve your boxing goals and never let you feel like you aren’t good enough no matter what your skill level is. The group of members they have accumulated thus far are nothing but supportive & motivating to each and every person who walks through the door. Not into classes? There’s a loft with new & efficient gym equipment to do your own thing. But once you watch a few classes you will probably feel differently. If you’ve been thinking about joining, the right answer is yes you should!!

The Team in Your Corner

Behind every great workout is a coach who knows how to bring out your best.

Our instructors at Downtown Boxing Club are more than trainers — they’re mentors, motivators, and teammates who walk with you through every round.

They’ll show you how to throw your first punch, sharpen your stance, and push past the point where you thought you had nothing left. They know when to turn up the heat and when to remind you to breathe.

Each one brings real experience and real heart into the gym, so no matter your skill level, you’ve got someone in your corner who believes in you.
